WiMiUS has released a new projector for home cinema, the Z5S. The device has 1080p Full HD resolution and a maximum brightness of 6,000 Lumens from its LED light source. With a 1.2:1 throw ratio, the gadget can project images up to 150-in wide from a distance of 4.3 m (~14.1 ft).

The projector uses Android 9 OS, providing access to a wide range of streaming services, and the gadget supports Miracast wireless content sharing. Alternatively, you can cast to the device via Bluetooth 5.0 from an Android, Windows or Chromebook product. Plus, Apple AirPlay allows you to cast from your iOS device. You can also connect to the ET50S projector via AV, USB and HDMI ports, allowing you to connect TV sticks or games consoles.

A 3.5 mm jack could connect the gadget to headphones or a speaker system. You can use a remote control to operate the motorized focus function and to adjust any screen distortion. The compact gadget measures 5 x 6.5 x 7.76-in (127 x 197 x 165 mm), with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB EMMC ROM.

The WiMiUS Z5S projector packs a Mediatek MT9269 Quad Core SoC with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an Arm Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. We also have 1 GB of RAM and internal eMMc storage is 8 GB. For wireless connectivity, it includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, while for audio we have a 3 W speaker inside that we can use independently via Bluetooth.
